  6. my second daughter’s name is azlynn! we definitely get some questioning looks when people ask her name, but we’re used to it since our first daughter is called bexley 😉 we went with azlynn, though, because of “aslan” from narnia which means “lion” in turkish. we, however, wanted to emphasize the “z” sound and went with the spelling above because of it being more phonetic in our opinion. it can also be spelled “aislinn”, which is irish for “dream or vision”, the “ais” is pronounced like the “sh” sound though, more like “ashlynn”. my good friend has a sister with this spelling, but they still pronounce it with the “z” sound, rather than the “sh” sound. see, not so made up as you thought, just maybe the spelling be more creative.
